Responsibility
- Lead engaging walking tours across central London, delivering accurate narratives and memorable guest experiences.
- Research and script tour content, tailoring narratives to diverse audiences and age groups.
- Ensure guest safety, manage logistics, pacing, and group behavior to maintain a smooth experience.
- Engage with guests in courteous, professional English; answer questions and handle on-tour inquiries.
- Collaborate with museums, attractions, and hospitality partners to coordinate bookings and routes.
- Record guest feedback, monitor tour metrics, and contribute to product enhancements and new tour concepts.
- Stay updated on city regulations, accessibility considerations, and health and safety best practices.
Qualification
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); excellent public speaking and storytelling ability.
- 3+ years of professional tour guiding experience in London or large cities; licensing or certification preferred.
- Knowledge of London’s history, architecture, culture, and hidden gems; ability to craft compelling narratives.
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain; basic safety and risk management awareness.
- Strong client-service orientation with the ability to adapt content to different audience needs.
- Excellent time management, navigation, and crowd management skills; capacity to handle weather and logistical challenges.
- Eligible to work in the UK; clear background check or right-to-work documentation as required.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as tours require.
