Responsibility
- Lead engaging walking tours through Lisbon’s historic districts, including Baixa, Alfama, and Belém, adapting content to varied audiences.
- Provide accurate historical context, anecdotes, and practical travel tips to ensure memorable experiences.
- Ensure safety and comfort of all guests, managing group dynamics and time effectively.
- Deliver tours in English; additional languages (Portuguese, Spanish, French, or German) are a plus.
- Collaborate with local partners for a high-quality experience (food tastings, museum entry, transit).
- Capture guest feedback and adapt tours to improve satisfaction and tips.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of route changes, closures, and local events.
- Uphold brand standards and represent the company professionally at all times.
Qualification
- Fluent in English; additional languages strongly preferred (Portuguese, Spanish, French, or German).
- Previous experience as a licensed tour guide or willingness to obtain a Portuguese tourism guiding license.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to manage groups of varying sizes and adapt to changing weather and schedules.
- Strong storytelling, research, and itinerary design abilities.
- Availability for weekends, evenings, and seasonal peaks.
- Basic first aid awareness and a commitment to safety and inclusivity.
- Legal eligibility to work in Portugal.
