We are seeking an engaging and knowledgeable Tour Guide to lead visitors through London's iconic landmarks, hidden gems, and rich history.
In this role, you will translate complex history into captivating stories, ensure safety, and deliver exceptional guest experiences across walking tours, private charters, and themed programs.
As part of our team, you will collaborate with operations, support multilingual guests, and represent our brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Responsibility
- Lead engaging walking tours for groups of varying sizes, ensuring timely and informative experiences.
- Deliver accurate, compelling commentary on landmarks, history, culture, and local anecdotes.
- Coordinate logistics, manage crowd flow, and uphold safety protocols during tours.
- Adapt content for different languages and accessibility needs; provide optional multilingual support.
- Build rapport with guests, handle inquiries, and resolve issues with professionalism.
- Collaborate with operations to optimize tour itineraries and schedule private charters.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of city attractions, events, and seasonal highlights.
Qualification
- Fluent in English; additional languages (Spanish, French, Mandarin, or Portuguese) are highly desirable.
- Prior tour guiding, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent public speaking, storytelling, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of London history, culture, and major landmarks.
- Ability to manage groups, handle challenging guests, and maintain safety standards.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and punctuality.
- Right to work in the UK; valid certificates for tour guiding or first aid are a plus.
