As an M&E Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional project teams to ensure design integrity, timely delivery, and adherence to PE/PEB standards. You will oversee M&E design coordination, review submittals, support procurement activities, and lead commissioning efforts. Responsibility
- Lead M&E design coordination for PEB and non-PEB environments, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
- Review and approve M&E drawings, submittals, RFIs, and design change requests in collaboration with designers and contractors.
- Coordinate with structural, architectural, and electrical teams to resolve clashes and optimize system integration.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality control to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Support procurement teams with technical specifications and supplier evaluations for M&E equipment and materials.
- Lead site supervision, commissioning, and performance testing of M&E systems to meet project requirements.
- Provide technical guidance on PEB systems, standards, and best practices across project lifecycles.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with safety teams to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualification
- PE Board recognized degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in M&E engineering within construction, preferably with an A1 Main Contractor
- Strong knowledge of PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) systems and related standards
- Proficiency with design and documentation tools (AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalents)
- Familiarity with codes, standards, and safety regulations applicable to M&E works
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaborative skills
- Ability to manage complex tasks, multi-disciplinary coordination, and field supervision
- Willingness to work in the Central Region and travel to project sites as required
