Join Lazada, a leading e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia, as the Manager, Key Account Management - General Merchandise. You will lead strategic partnerships with top General Merchandise brands and drive growth across Lazada's GM categories in Malaysia. In this role, you will shape and execute account strategies, negotiate favorable terms, and orchestrate go-to-market initiatives that elevate category performance. You’ll partner with the GM category team, marketing, operations, and logistics to optimize assortment, pricing, promotions, and channel strategies. A strong emphasis on analytics, stakeholder management, and result-oriented leadership will be essential to accelerate growth in a competitive e-commerce landscape.

Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic plans for key GM accounts to maximize revenue, profitability, and market share on Lazada Malaysia.
- Build and strengthen executive-level relationships with priority suppliers; lead negotiations on terms, promotions, exclusives, and joint business planning.
- Analyze sales performance, category trends, and market data to identify opportunities and implement initiatives to improve KPIs such as GMV, AOV, and contribution margin.
- Collaborate with category, marketing, and operations teams to set pricing, assortment, promotions, and go-to-market strategies; ensure timely launches and campaign execution.
- Lead quarterly business reviews with key accounts; translate data into actionable recommendations and track progress against targets.
- Manage pipeline, forecast accuracy, contract renewals, and service level agreements; ensure reliable delivery and fulfillment across accounts.
- Drive cross-functional projects including new product launches, vendor onboarding, and loyalty initiatives with clear success metrics; mentor junior KAMs.
- Ensure compliance with Lazada policies and brand guidelines; uphold high standards of partner experience and operational excellence.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in key account management, GM, or e-commerce sales, ideally within Southeast Asia.
- Proven track record of growing key account revenue, profitability, and strategic partnerships in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Data-driven with strong proficiency in Excel/Sheets; experience with BI tools; SQL knowledge is a plus.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving go-to-market initiatives; strong project management and strategic thinking.
- Ability to analyze data, set targets, and influence senior stakeholders across the organization.
