Responsibility
- Plan and deliver high-quality Mandarin lessons aligned with Kiddles curriculum.
- Create engaging, interactive activities using storytelling, songs, games, and role-play.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and curriculum coordinators to tailor materials for varying levels.
- Prepare and maintain lesson plans, learning materials, and student records.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and cultural activities to promote Mandarin language and Chinese culture.
- Track attendance and ensure timely submission of progress reports.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mandarin, or a related field.
- Native or fluent Mandarin speaker with strong pronunciation.
- Teaching certification or relevant training in language or early childhood education.
- Prior experience teaching Mandarin to children; minimum 1 year preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and passion for teaching young learners.
- Proficiency with digital tools and educational technology (presentation software, learning apps, etc.).
- Ability to design age-appropriate activities and assess learning outcomes.
