Responsibility
- Translate and proofread documents, contracts, manuals, emails, and marketing materials between Mandarin and Indonesian/English with high accuracy
- Maintain up-to-date translation memories and glossaries to ensure terminology consistency across all projects
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, logistics, and admin teams to support bilingual communications and documentation
- Localize content for Indonesian markets, ensuring regulatory compliance and cultural relevance
- Assist with interpretation for meetings or conference calls when needed
- Track translation requests, manage timelines, and ensure timely delivery using project management tools
- Review and edit supplier and vendor communications to reflect brand voice and standards
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, Asian studies, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 2+ years of professional Mandarin translation or interpretation experience
- Fluent in Mandarin and Indonesian; English proficiency is a plus
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in all supported languages
- Experience with CAT tools (e.g., Trados, MemoQ) and glossary/termbase management
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment
