As a Market Development Representative, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for initiating conversations with target prospects, qualifying inbound inquiries, and maintaining a strong sales pipeline. This role offers structured training, ongoing coaching, and clear opportunities for career progression within a global events and impressions company.
What you'll do:
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound outreach, social selling, and targeted research
- Engage prospects via phone, email, and social channels to generate interest for Marcus Evans Summits
- Maintain and update the CRM with accurate contact, account, and opportunity data
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to execute lead generation programs and campaigns
- Schedule qualified meetings, product demos, and event briefings for senior sales leaders
- Track activity and performance metrics, reporting on pipeline progress and conversion rates
- Participate in ongoing training to develop product knowledge and sales skills
Responsibility

Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or current student; entry-level applicants welcome
- Excellent written and verbal communication with strong phone presence
- Motivated, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office
- Fluency in English; Malay language skills are a plus
