Responsibility
- Deliver engaging, student-centered math lessons aligned to Singapore math standards for primary and early secondary students.
- Assess and monitor each student's progress, adapting instruction based on data and individual needs.
- Prepare customized lesson plans, practice materials, and formative assessments to drive mastery.
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that builds confidence, resilience, and independent problem-solving.
- Provide timely feedback to students and communicate progress to parents and teachers.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and learning centre staff to support cross-curricular learning and enrichment activities.
- Incorporate educational technology and tutoring platforms to track performance and deliver differentiated instruction.
Qualification
- A bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (or equivalent tutoring experience).
- Proven track record tutoring or teaching math and helping students improve performance.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore math curriculum and assessment standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to design engaging, effective lesson plans and activities.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and adaptability; ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
- Proficiency with educational technology and data-tracking tools.
