Responsibility
- Develop and refine mathematical models for complex systems in finance, health, and technology.
- Design experiments and simulations to test model assumptions and validate results.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to implement algorithms at scale.
- Interpret analytical findings for stakeholders and prepare publications.
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to grant writing and project planning.
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at conferences.
- Ensure reproducibility through rigorous documentation and code reviews.
Qualification
- PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field (or ≈5+ years industry equivalent).
- Strong track record of mathematical modeling and quantitative research.
- Proficiency in Python or R, plus experience with MATLAB or Julia.
- Expertise in probability, statistics, numerical analysis, optimization, and linear algebra.
- Experience with data-driven decision making and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
