QuantaForge Institute is seeking a passionate and collaborative physicist to join our interdisciplinary quantum research team in Pasadena, California. The successful candidate will design and execute experiments, develop computational models, and contribute to high-impact publications and external collaborations.

Responsibility
- Lead and execute experimental programs in quantum materials, quantum sensing, and related areas
- Develop and optimize measurement techniques, instrumentation, and data acquisition pipelines
- Design computational models and analyze large datasets using Python, MATLAB, and related tools
- Collaborate with theorists and engineers to interpret results and guide experimental design
- Prepare reports, presentations, and high-impact manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor graduate students and junior staff, fostering a collaborative research culture
- Contribute to grant proposals and intellectual property discussions
Qualification
- PhD in physics or a closely related field with a track record in experimental or theoretical quantum physics
- Hands-on experience with cryogenic systems, high-field measurements, ultrafast spectroscopy, or equivalent techniques
- Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar scientific computing tools
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
- Proven ability to design, execute, and interpret complex experiments
- Strong publication record and experience with scientific writing
- Commitment to safety, ethics, and responsible research practices
