Responsibility
- Lead the development of advanced mathematical models for real-world problems across finance, engineering, and data science.
- Design and implement numerical methods and algorithms with robust validation and testing.
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate models into production systems.
- Publish research findings in internal and external venues and present results to stakeholders.
- Mentor junior mathematicians and contribute to the growth of the team.
- Evaluate and optimize model performance using real-world datasets and benchmarks.
- Translate business goals into rigorous mathematical frameworks and measurable outcomes.
Qualification
- PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python and MATLAB; experience with Julia or R is a plus.
- Expertise in numerical analysis, optimization, stochastic processes, and data-driven modeling.
- Proven ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with high-performance computing, parallel processing, or GPU acceleration is desirable.
- Demonstrated collaboration and project-management skills with a track record of delivering results.
