Job description
Banral Drafting Services seeks a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our design team in Ortigas, Metro Manila. In this role, you will design and produce detailed drawings and 3D models of metal fabrication components used in the manufacturing of semi trailers. You will translate concepts from engineers and clients into manufacturable designs that meet performance, cost, and lead time targets.
Day to day responsibilities include creating accurate 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software, specifying materials, finishes, and fabrication processes, and applying tolerances and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure proper fit and function. You will develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and fabrication instructions for production teams, and collaborate with fabrication, welding, and assembly staff to optimize manufacturability and total cost. You will also review design changes, manage documentation and version control, and support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and lead times. Finally, you will provide support to quality assurance and field teams by delivering as built drawings and timely technical input when issues arise.
This is a hands-on drafting and design role with opportunities to grow within a dynamic services firm that values precision, collaboration, and client success.
