Job description
We’re seeking a seasoned Mentor & Career Coach to lead our growing mentorship program in Austin, Texas. You will design learning experiences, coach participants, and scale impact across cohorts. This role combines strategic program management with hands-on coaching to help professionals develop critical skills and confidence.
As a key member of our education team, you’ll partner with HR, learning & development, and community partners to craft curricula, deliver engaging sessions, and measure outcomes that drive long-term career growth. Responsibility
- Design and continuously improve mentorship curricula, resources, and tools.
- Coach mentees one-on-one and in small groups to accelerate skill development and confidence.
- Train and onboard new mentors, establishing clear expectations and quality standards.
- Develop assessment metrics and track progress to demonstrate program impact.
- Collaborate with HR, L&D, and external partners to align mentoring with organizational goals.
- Plan and host workshops, webinars, and community events to scale learning.
- Foster an inclusive, equitable mentoring culture and collect feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in education, HR, or related field.
- 3+ years of mentoring, coaching, or talent development experience.
- Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to design curricula, coaching guides, and learning resources.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and coaching tools; data-driven mindset.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management abilities; ability to manage multiple cohorts.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in mentoring.
