Job description

Lumina Mentoring is seeking a strategic and people centric Mentor Programs Lead to design, govern, and scale our mentorship initiatives across the organization. Based in New York City, this role combines program strategy, stakeholder management, and hands on curriculum development to create transformational mentor mentee experiences.

You will partner with Learning & Development, Talent Experience, and Senior Leaders to ensure our mentoring programs attract diverse participants, deliver measurable outcomes, and align with our company values.

Key responsibilities include building a scalable ecosystem of mentors, identifying growth opportunities, and leveraging data to continuously improve program quality and impact.

Responsibility

  • Define program strategy, goals, metrics, and governance for mentoring initiatives.
  • Partner with L&D and HR to recruit and onboard mentors; create scalable mentor training curricula.
  • Recruit participants, coordinate matches, and manage the mentor-mentee lifecycle.
  • Develop engaging content for mentor training, session facilitation, and resource libraries.
  • Collect, analyze, and report on program outcomes; iterate based on data.
  • Promote inclusive practices, diversity, equity, and belonging within mentoring programs.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to align mentoring with succession planning and talent development.

Qualification

  • 5+ years of experience in mentoring, coaching, or talent development; program management experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of designing and scaling mentoring programs in corporate or educational settings.
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience developing training materials and facilitator guides.
  • Data-driven with ability to measure outcomes and communicate impact to executives.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in mentorship.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hybrid environment in New York City, with flexibility for remote collaboration.
