Join Dwi Cermat Indonesia as a Merchant Relation Officer in Palu, Sulawesi Tengah. You will be the primary liaison between offline SME merchants and our Merchant Apps platform. In this contract role, you will drive sales targets in your region, onboard new merchants, train and support them to maximize adoption and revenue. You will build long lasting relationships, gather feedback, and collaborate with product and operations to ensure excellent merchant experience.
As a field sales professional, you will empower merchants with the tools they need to succeed. Your daily activities will blend relationship-building with proactive outreach, pipeline management, and data-driven selling. You will conduct on-site visits, host product demonstrations, and deliver practical training sessions that enable merchants to use the Merchant Apps effectively, optimize their workflows, and grow their revenue streams.
You will partner closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to plan local promotions, address merchant concerns, and ensure fast resolution of issues. Responsibility
- Build and maintain strong relationships with offline SME merchants using the Merchant Apps platform
- Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets in the assigned territory
- Onboard new merchants by explaining features, collecting documents, and setting up merchant accounts
- Provide in person or remote training on platform usage, best practices, and sales techniques
- Offer ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and collect merchant feedback for product improvement
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Operations to plan and execute local promotions
- Track performance metrics, maintain CRM records, and report progress to the supervisor
- Identify opportunities for merchant growth and cross-sell additional features or services
Qualification
- Proven experience in field sales, account management, or merchant relations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Indonesian and English
- Ability to conduct effective product training and presentations
- Willingness to travel within Palu and nearby areas
- Self motivated, target driven, and able to work under contract conditions
- Familiarity with CRM software and basic data analysis
- Strong problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred in business, marketing or related field
