London Maternity Partners is seeking a dedicated Midwife to join our leading maternity care team in London. You will deliver evidence-based, person-centred care across the perinatal pathway, supporting families from prenatal care through birth and postnatal follow-up.

Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive antepartum, intrapartum, and postnatal care to women and families, in line with current guidelines and evidence-based practice.
- Carry out risk assessments, monitor fetal well-being, and respond to emergencies with agility and leadership.
- Develop and implement individualized birth plans, supporting informed choice and informed consent.
- Support breastfeeding, neonatal transition, and early parent education with sensitivity to cultural and personal values.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthetists, neonatal teams, and community midwives to ensure seamless care across settings.
- Document accurately in electronic medical records and ensure continuity of care across shifts.
- Provide education and counselling on nutrition, contraception, and self-care during the perinatal period.
- Participate in quality improvement projects and ongoing professional development to maintain high standards of care.
Qualification
- Registered Midwife with active NMC registration in the United Kingdom or eligible to register.
- Minimum 2-3 years of clinical midwifery experience in a hospital or community setting.
- Strong knowledge of obstetric and neonatal care, fetal monitoring, and emergency response (ALSO or equivalent preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to person-centred care, cultural sensitivity, and patient advocacy.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and nights, with resilience under pressure.
- Commitment to continuing professional development and evidence-based practice.
- Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship or hold valid visa/work rights.
