As a Midwife on our team you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across the childbirth continuum, including prenatal visits, labor and birth support, postpartum follow-up, and women''s health services. You will work collaboratively with obstetricians, hospital staff, lactation consultants, and community partners to ensure safe, respectful, and empowering birth experiences.

Responsibility
- Provide full-scope prenatal care, labor support, delivery, postpartum follow-up, and family planning for individuals and families in a respectful and evidence-based manner.
- Develop and implement individualized birth plans; monitor labor progress and perform routine assessments and interventions within scope.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, birth center staff, nurses, lactation consultants, and community resources to coordinate care.
- Manage urgent and emergent obstetric situations with appropriate escalation and patient advocacy.
- Document care in the EMR with accuracy and maintain compliant documentation and charting.
- Provide patient education on prenatal topics, informed decision making, and postpartum recovery and newborn care.
- Participate in on-call rotations, after-hours coverage, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- Current Oregon licensure as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) or Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) with AMCB certification.
- Graduation from an accredited midwifery program with strong clinical competencies.
- Minimum 2+ years of clinical midwifery experience in diverse settings.
- Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills; ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency with EMR systems, charting, and data management; commitment to patient privacy and safety.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification; neonatal resuscitation knowledge or NRP preferred.
- Commitment to cultural humility, racial justice, and patient-centered care; willingness to serve diverse populations.
- On-call availability and flexibility; Spanish speaking or other language skills are a plus.
