Join our patient-centered midwifery practice in Portland, Oregon as a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM). We support women through every stage of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with evidence-based care in a collaborative, compassionate environment.
About the role: You will provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care, support family-centered births, and collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and lactation consultants to ensure the best outcomes for moms and babies.

Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care for low and medium-risk pregnancies
- Support safe, patient-centered births including continuous labor support and management of labor progression
- Perform routine exams, order and interpret labs, and assess fetal well-being
- Develop individualized birth plans and provide education on prenatal nutrition, breastfeeding, and newborn care
- Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and lactation consultants to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and ensure compliance with state and facility policies
- Provide counseling and support for family planning, contraception, and postpartum recovery
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to staff training
Qualification
- Current Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) certification and licensure in Oregon or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Active BLS/ACLS certification and obstetric emergency response skills
- Minimum 2+ years of clinical midwifery experience in prenatal, birth, and postpartum care
- Excellent communication, empathy, cultural sensitivity, and advocacy for patients
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and manage emergencies calmly
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety
- Experience with EMR systems and lactation support is a plus
