Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive CNM care across prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum periods
- Perform risk assessment, manage labor and birth, including pain management and emergency readiness
- Create and adjust individualized birth plans in collaboration with families and care teams
- Conduct well-woman visits, lactation support, and newborn assessments
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure privacy and compliance
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency coverage as needed
- Mentor student midwives and support community education programs
Qualification
- Current CNM licensure in Oregon or eligibility to obtain
- Master's degree in Nurse-Midwifery
- Minimum 3 years of midwifery experience preferred
- Strong clinical skills in intrapartum and postpartum care
- Experience with EMR systems and quality improvement initiatives
- CPR and NRP certification
- Excellent communication skills and cultural humility
- Commitment to equity and family-centered care
