Responsibility

  • Provide comprehensive CNM care across prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum periods
  • Perform risk assessment, manage labor and birth, including pain management and emergency readiness
  • Create and adjust individualized birth plans in collaboration with families and care teams
  • Conduct well-woman visits, lactation support, and newborn assessments
  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure privacy and compliance
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency coverage as needed
  • Mentor student midwives and support community education programs

Qualification

  • Current CNM licensure in Oregon or eligibility to obtain
  • Master's degree in Nurse-Midwifery
  • Minimum 3 years of midwifery experience preferred
  • Strong clinical skills in intrapartum and postpartum care
  • Experience with EMR systems and quality improvement initiatives
  • CPR and NRP certification
  • Excellent communication skills and cultural humility
