As a Midwife with our team, you will partner with women across antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to promote safe, empowering births and positive outcomes.

Responsibility
- Provide evidence-based midwifery care during antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods.
- Develop and implement individualized birth plans in partnership with clients.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure safe care.
- Educate families on breastfeeding, newborn care, pain management, and postpartum recovery.
- Assess risk, monitor maternal and fetal well-being, and respond to deviations with timely interventions.
- Document care accurately in electronic medical records and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Support informed decision-making and advocacy for each client’s birthing preferences.
Qualification
- Current registration as a Midwife with AHPRA or relevant regulatory authority in Australia.
- Bachelor’s degree in Midwifery or equivalent advanced midwifery qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical midwifery experience in hospital or community settings.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and cultural competence.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including on-call and night coverage.
- Knowledge of state and national guidelines for safe motherhood and newborn care.
