We are seeking a skilled midwife to join our collaborative team in a full-time role. Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to clients and families.
- Perform routine exams, risk assessments, and newborn evaluations in collaboration with physicians as needed.
- Support labor and birth with evidence-based practices and available pain management options.
- Develop individualized birth plans and advocate for informed decision-making and informed consent.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, doulas, nurses, and other care team members to ensure seamless care.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and uphold regulatory and safety standards.
- Educate families on breastfeeding, newborn care, postpartum recovery, and self-care strategies.
Qualification
- Current Washington state CNM or CPM license and board certification as applicable.
- Minimum 3+ years of professional midwifery experience; hospital or community birth settings acceptable.
- Active BLS and NRP certifications; ACLS preferred depending on role.
- Excellent communication, patient advocacy, and teamwork abilities.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based maternity care, neonatal resuscitation, and pain management.
- Ability to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotations.
- Commitment to culturally competent care and serving diverse populations.
