We are seeking a Certified Professional Midwife to provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum and postpartum care in a collaborative clinic setting and supported home births where appropriate. As a member of our care team, you will partner with families to plan and support healthy pregnancies, birth, and the postpartum journey. You will work closely with obstetricians, doulas, and support staff to ensure seamless, high quality care across all stages of pregnancy and birth.

Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive prenatal care including risk assessment, screening, and personalized birth planning.
- Conduct intrapartum care with continuous support, monitoring, and timely decision making.
- Attend and support births in hospital or appropriate out-of-hospital settings, ensuring safety and informed consent.
- Deliver postpartum care including newborn assessment, lactation support, and family education.
- Coordinate care with obstetricians, nurses, doulas, and other team members; manage documentation in EMR.
- Educate families on nutrition, safety planning, recognition of danger signs, and postpartum recovery.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based guidelines; participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- Active Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) certification and Washington state licensure or eligibility.
- Minimum 3 years of direct midwifery care experience with diverse populations.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum practices.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and accurate charting; comfortable with data privacy standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and cultural humility; team-oriented mindset.
- NRP and BLS certification; willingness to participate in on-call rotations and home birth support.
- Commitment to patient autonomy, informed consent, and advocacy for families.
