As a Midwife on our team, you will provide comprehensive care to diverse families, support natural birth plans, manage low-risk pregnancies, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and doulas to ensure exceptional outcomes.

Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care for low-risk pregnancies.
- Lead evidence-based labor support, monitor fetal health, and assist with birth planning and pain management.
- Conduct risk assessments, screenings, and health education for mothers and families.
- Develop individualized birth plans in collaboration with patients and support networks.
- Educate clients on pregnancy, breastfeeding, newborn care, and parenting skills.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, nurses, and doulas to coordinate care.
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record and ensure compliance with protocols.
- Provide emergency obstetric assistance when needed and arrange appropriate referrals.
Qualification
- Active Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) or Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) certification and WA state license.
- Current BLS/ACLS certification and ability to respond to obstetric emergencies.
- Minimum 2-3 years of midwifery experience in a clinical setting with low-risk pregnancies.
- Strong communication, empathy, and patient advocacy skills.
- Knowledge of evidence-based maternity care practices and pain management options.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and across departments.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and patient education resources.
