Mitracomm Ekasarana is seeking a motivated Motorcycle Courier to join our trusted logistics team in Jayapura. Responsibility
- Safely operate a motorcycle to deliver packages to customers and business partners across Jayapura and surrounding areas, ensuring on-time and intact deliveries.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, optimize daily schedules, and adjust to traffic or weather conditions to meet delivery windows.
- Verify recipient information, obtain signatures or proof of delivery, and ensure proper handling and documentation of each package.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and update the dispatch system with delivery status, delays, or issues in real-time.
- Perform routine motorcycle inspections, basic maintenance, and cleanliness to ensure safe operation and compliance with safety policies.
- Practice safe driving habits, wear protective gear, and adhere to traffic laws and company safety guidelines.
- Communicate professionally with customers, respond to delivery inquiries, and resolve basic service issues promptly.
- Collaborate with warehouse and dispatch teams to support accurate inventory movement and route coordination.
Qualification
- Valid motorcycle license (SIM C) and a clean driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of courier or delivery experience, preferably in urban/remote routes.
- Familiarity with Jayapura road networks, landmarks, and local traffic patterns.
- Excellent time management and ability to meet delivery deadlines; reliable and punctual.
- Strong customer service mindset with professional communication in Indonesian (and English, if applicable).
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 15 kg and perform basic loading/unloading tasks.
- Proficiency with mobile apps for delivery tracking, GPS navigation, and basic reporting.
- Safety-conscious, dependable, and able to work under contract terms with adherence to health insurance and company policies.
