Responsibility
- Develop and implement fleet policies and procedures to maximize asset utilization and lifecycle management.
- Schedule preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
- Monitor fuel usage, telematics data, and performance; prepare monthly dashboards for leadership.
- Manage vendor relationships for maintenance, parts, insurance, and regulatory compliance; negotiate favorable terms.
- Supervise drivers and mechanics; ensure safety training and performance management.
- Maintain accurate asset registers, registrations, licenses, and insurance documentation.
- Coordinate motorpool requests across projects, ensuring timely dispatch and route optimization.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in fleet or motorpool management, preferably in construction, property development, or facilities operations.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, preventive maintenance scheduling, and asset tracking systems.
- Proven vendor management, negotiation, budgeting, and cost-control skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
- Familiarity with local regulations, licensing, and safety compliance; ability to prepare reports.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting; experience with MS Excel and fleet management software.
