PulseWave Collective is seeking a skilled Music Content Producer to join our vibrant Austin-based team. You will shape music-driven campaigns, curate licensed tracks, and collaborate with creators, labels, and brands to deliver compelling audio-visual experiences.

In this role, you’ll own end-to-end production for music-led content across social, video, and live events, while ensuring licensing compliance and high creative standards. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-moving music environment in Austin.

Responsibility

  • Conceptualize and produce music-centric content across campaigns, playlists, social, and video.
  • Lead licensing negotiations and manage contracts with artists, publishers, and labels.
  • Coordinate cross-functional production schedules, budgets, and approvals from concept to delivery.
  • Curate and tag music assets, create metadata, and ensure licensing rights and usage terms are documented.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and creative teams to align music content with brand strategy.
  • Edit and mix audio (DAWs), supervise mastering, and ensure audio quality across formats.
  • Optimize content for discoverability with SEO-friendly titles, descriptions, and metadata.
  • Analyze performance metrics and iterate on content to maximize engagement and ROI.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Music, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3 years in music content production, licensing, or creative production.
  • Proficiency with DAWs (Pro Tools, Logic Pro) and video editing tools (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills with knowledge of publishing and sync licensing.
  • Excellent project management, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
