BayBridge Notary & Document Services is seeking a meticulous and client-focused Notary Public to join our growing team in San Francisco, California. Responsibility
- Perform notarial acts including acknowledgments, jurats, oaths, affirmations, and copy certifications in accordance with California law.
- Verify identity of signers using acceptable credentials and maintain thorough identity documentation.
- Prepare and attach certificates of notarial acts and ensure accuracy before recording in the official journal.
- Manage notary journal entries, records, and secure document handling in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Assist clients with document preparation, explaining procedures and requirements in a professional manner.
- Coordinate with clients, attorneys, escrow officers, and financial institutions to facilitate timely closings.
- Maintain notary tools, seals, software, and equipment; stay current on California notary laws and best practices.
- Adhere to security and ethical standards, safeguarding client information and preventing conflicts of interest.
Qualification
- Active California Notary Public commission in good standing.
- Minimum 2 years of notarial experience, or equivalent legal documentation background.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional accuracy in document handling and data entry.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to explain complex requirements clearly.
- Proficiency with notary software, digital record keeping, and basic office tech; comfortable with remote solutions when permissible.
- Reliable, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and maintain a valid notary bond or coverage as required.
- High school diploma or GED; lifetime commitment to ethical conduct and professional integrity.
