We are seeking an experienced Notary Public / Mobile Signing Agent to deliver reliable, confidential notarial services to our corporate partners, title companies, and individual clients. This is a contract role designed for a motivated professional who can travel to client sites, provide exceptional service, and ensure precise documentation handling.

Responsibility
- Perform notarial acts in accordance with New York law, including acknowledgments, jurats, oaths, and affirmations on a wide range of documents.
- Travel to client locations within the designated service area to complete signings and notarial acts in a professional, timely manner.
- Verify signer identity, confirm document completeness, and ensure proper execution of all forms and clauses.
- Maintain accurate notary journals, securely handle confidential information, and adhere to privacy and security standards.
- Review documents for completeness and accuracy; identify and resolve potential issues prior to signing.
- Coordinate with title companies, lenders, attorneys, and clients to schedule signings and meet deadlines.
- Provide exceptional customer service, clear explanations, and a courteous, professional demeanor at all times.
- Adhere to company policies and applicable eNotary/remote notarization practices where permitted by law.
Qualification
- Active Notary Public commission in New York with current status and valid credentials.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Notary or Signing Agent; mortgage signings preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to travel across the NYC metro area.
- Outstanding attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent time management.
- Superior customer service, professional communication, and a polished, trustworthy appearance.
- Proficiency with document handling, basic computer skills, email, and PDF/scanner usage.
- Familiarity with New York notary laws, mortgage documents, and signing procedures; remote / eNotary experience is a plus.
- Ability to pass background checks and comply with all client-specific requirements.
