Responsibility
- Perform accurate notarial acts in compliance with California notary laws and company policies.
- Verify client identity, administer oaths, and complete notarization certificates with meticulous attention to detail.
- Prepare, review, and organize closing documents for real estate, loan signings, and corporate notarizations.
- Travel to client sites or operate in our mobile notary network to support on-site signings.
- Maintain precise records, logs, and secure storage of confidential documents.
- Provide exceptional customer service, manage scheduling, and communicate document status clearly.
- Stay current with notary law updates and company compliance standards, including eNotary where permitted.
Qualification
- Valid California notary public commission in good standing.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a notary public or signing agent; mortgage or real estate closings preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, and customer service focus.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations within the greater San Francisco area.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling sensitive documents.
- Familiarity with document verification, ID requirements, and notary software or electronic notarization platforms.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple signings, and adhere to deadlines; background check required.
