Job description
We are seeking an On-Site Project Engineer specializing in EE/ECE to join a Telecom documentation team. This role focuses on validating field data, organizing site documentation, and supporting project workflows and billing processes. Based in Dalaguete, Cebu, you will work closely with field technicians and engineers to ensure that site photos, equipment serials, and related records are accurate and readily accessible for internal teams and clients. You will contribute to a streamlined documentation workflow that reduces cycle times and improves data quality, helping the project stay on schedule and within budget.
As the primary on-site custodian of project records, you will translate on-site observations into structured data, maintain a comprehensive reports library, and assist with daily progress updates. You will also participate in quality checks, ensure compliance with telecom standards, and support cross-functional teams in billing and project tracking. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to grow in telecom documentation while developing professional skills in coordination, reporting, and quality assurance.
Salary for this position is ₱15,000 to ₱20,000 per month, with opportunities to progress as you gain experience in telecom documentation, site management, and client-facing reporting.
Responsibility
- Verify on-site equipment photos and serial numbers against project records to ensure accuracy.
- Collect, organize, and maintain site documentation, including photos, diagrams, and equipment lists.
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly site reports to project managers and stakeholders.
- Support billing and cost tracking by providing complete and timely documentation for invoicing.
- Maintain an accessible, up-to-date documentation library for quick reference by engineering and procurement teams.
- Coordinate with field technicians and engineers to ensure data completeness and compliance with standards.
- Participate in process improvements to shorten cycle times and reduce documentation errors.
- Ensure documentation aligns with telecom safety and regulatory requirements and internal QA/QC procedures.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) or a related field.
- Basic understanding of telecom site documentation, data validation, and reporting processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with data management tools.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to collaborate with field teams and office staff.
- Willingness to work on-site in Dalaguete, Cebu and travel as required for project needs.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates are welcome for entry-level roles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
