Job description

NovaCart Solutions is seeking a results-driven Online Store Manager to lead day-to-day operations for our growing e-commerce portfolio. This role blends strategy, execution, and data-driven decision making to optimize product experiences, pricing, promotions, and fulfillment across channels.

As the Online Store Manager, you will partner with merchandising, marketing, logistics, and customer service to deliver a seamless shopping experience, maximize conversion, improve customer lifetime value, and protect brand integrity. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for someone who loves turning data into action and driving measurable growth.

Location: Austin, Texas; this is a hybrid or in-office role with flexibility for remote collaboration. You will own the store calendar, inventory health, content updates, and performance reporting, while ensuring compliance with brand standards and best-in-class customer service.

Responsibility

  • Own end-to-end store operations across a defined e-commerce portfolio, including product launches, pricing, promotions, and merchandising.
  • Manage product catalogs, SKUs, variants, pricing strategies, and catalog migrations to maintain accuracy and consistency.
  • Oversee order management and fulfillment, monitor shipping performance, returns, and refunds to optimize customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate inventory planning and replenishment with suppliers and warehouses to prevent stockouts and overstock.
  • Analyze key metrics (traffic, conversion, AOV, CLV) and implement data-driven optimizations in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Collaborate with marketing, SEO, and content teams to optimize PDPs, category pages, and promotional landing pages for conversions.
  • Ensure brand consistency, quality assurance, and adherence to compliance, privacy, and customer service standards.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, operations, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience in e-commerce.
  • 5+ years of hands-on online store management experience with platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento.
  • Proven track record of increasing conversion rate, AOV, and CLV through merchandising and lifecycle marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in Google Analytics, GA4, and data visualization tools; proficient in Excel or Sheets.
  • Operational mindset with cross-functional collaboration experience across merchandising, marketing, logistics, and customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, project management, and problem-solving abilities; self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with a disciplined approach to timelines.
