Job description
We are a fast-growing e-commerce brand seeking an Online Store Manager to own the storefront experience from discovery to checkout. This role blends operations, merchandising, analytics, and customer experience to maximize growth and profitability.
Based in Austin but open to remote candidates within the United States, you will partner with marketing, design, and logistics teams to execute data-driven initiatives that drive conversion and loyalty across our product catalog.
Responsibility
- Own and optimize the end-to-end online store experience across Shopify and WooCommerce platforms.
- Manage product catalogs, pricing, imagery, descriptions, and SEO-friendly content to maximize conversions.
- Lead order fulfillment, returns, and customer service workflows to ensure best-in-class service levels.
- Analyze store KPIs (AOV, conversion rate, CAC, ROAS) and implement data-driven optimizations.
- Coordinate with marketing, design, and supply chain teams to launch campaigns and promotions on schedule.
- Configure and maintain automations (abandoned cart, email flows, inventory alerts) to save time and revenue.
- Oversee integrations (Payment gateways, ERP/fulfillment, analytics) and ensure data accuracy and compliance.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in e-commerce, marketing, or operations.
- 3+ years of hands-on online store management with Shopify and/or WooCommerce.
- Strong understanding of product information management, catalog structure, and on-page SEO.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics tools (GA4, Shopify Analytics, Excel/Sheets).
- Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with marketplace channels (Amazon, eBay) and multi-channel inventory management is a plus.
- Customer service mindset with outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities, preferably in remote-capable teams.
