NovaStore, a fast-growing online retailer of premium lifestyle products, is seeking a results-driven Online Store Manager to join our remote-first team based in Seattle. You will own end-to-end store operations, from product listings to fulfillment, optimization, and customer experience. This role blends ecommerce operations, merchandising, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to drive revenue and profitability.
As the Online Store Manager, you will be the operational owner of our ecommerce storefronts, ensuring a seamless shopping experience while maximizing conversion and profitability. You’ll collaborate with marketing, sourcing, and logistics to align campaigns, product launches, and inventory with business goals. A strong bias for data, customer insight, and process improvement will help you consistently exceed performance targets.
This role is remote-friendly with occasional on-site collaboration in Seattle. You’ll report to the Head of Ecommerce and work with a talented cross-functional team dedicated to exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibility
- Own day-to-day storefront operations across platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) including catalog management, pricing, promotions, and merchandising.
- Oversee order processing, fulfillment SLAs, returns, and customer service handoffs to ensure a delightful post-purchase experience.
- Monitor key performance indicators (conversion rate, AOV, CAC, cart abandonment) and implement data-driven optimizations.
- Collaborate with Marketing for campaigns, product launches, seasonal promos, and SEO optimization of product pages.
- Maintain accurate inventory, coordinate with suppliers, and manage stock replenishment to minimize stockouts and overstock.
- Lead CRO initiatives, A/B tests, and UX improvements to improve funnel performance and checkout efficiency.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with IT, Logistics, and Customer Service to resolve issues and improve overall store health.
Qualification
- 3+ years of experience in ecommerce store management or operations, preferably in DTC or lifestyle brands.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento; proven track record of managing catalogs, pricing, and promotions.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with analytics tools (GA4, Shopify Analytics, or BI tools).
- Demonstrated ability to optimize conversions through UX, CRO, and product merchandising.
- Excellent inventory management and vendor coordination capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; proven cross-functional collaboration in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Customer-centric mindset with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred.
