Responsibility
- Design and prototype innovative packaging solutions for a diverse product portfolio.
- Analyze material selections to ensure sustainability, functionality, and cost efficiency.
- Lead packaging qualification tests and validate new designs to meet regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with product development, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
- Manage vendors and oversee packaging production runs for quality assurance.
- Identify process improvements and contribute to continuous enhancement initiatives.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging packaging technologies.
- Document and report design processes, testing outcomes, and project milestones.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in packaging design and development (CPG preferred).
- Proficiency with CAD software and packaging simulation tools.
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Understanding of sustainability practices and industry regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a creative problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
