Responsibility
- Officiate assigned matches in accordance with the Laws of the Game and competition rules.
- Communicate decisions clearly to players, coaches, and observers; manage on-field tempers and disputes.
- Position yourself effectively on the field to observe key actions and ensure fair play.
- Record accurate match details and incident notes; submit timely match reports to league administrators.
- Collaborate with the referee team and assignors to ensure smooth match operations.
- Stay current with rule changes and ongoing professional development through mandatory training.
- Uphold the highest standards of sportsmanship, safety, and professionalism at all times.
Qualification
- Valid refereeing qualification (e.g., FA Referee Award) or equivalent international certification.
- Current First Aid and safeguarding certificates preferred.
- Proven decision-making, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent physical fitness and stamina to maintain focus throughout matches.
- Availability on weekends and weekday evenings as required by league schedules.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to varying game contexts, and manage multiple incidents calmly.
- Must be able to travel within London and have access to reliable transportation.
