You will lead high-energy coaching sessions, collaborate with program directors, and contribute to comprehensive performance plans across multiple age groups.
Responsibility
- Design and deliver comprehensive training plans tailored to age and ability, with progression tracking.
- Lead high-quality coaching sessions across scheduled practices and weekend events.
- Monitor athletes progress using data-driven metrics and adjust programs accordingly.
- Ensure safety and compliance during all activities, including risk assessments and incident reporting.
- Foster a positive environment that emphasizes teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
- Collaborate with fellow coaches, parents, and the operations team to optimize schedules and resources.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain program participants through engaging coaching and clear growth pathways.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in sports science, kinesiology, or related field preferred; coaching certification required (USSF, NSCAA, USA Basketball, or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years of coaching experience with youth athletes; competitive sports background a plus.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification and safeguarding training.
- Strong knowledge of sport-specific physiology, injury prevention, and conditioning principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate diverse groups.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel for events; reliable transportation required.
