Responsibility
- Officiate assigned football matches with impartiality and authority.
- Enforce laws of the game, make on-field rulings, and manage stoppages fairly.
- Communicate decisions clearly to players, coaches, and officials; de-escalate conflicts when needed.
- Maintain player safety by monitoring contact, equipment, and conduct.
- Conduct pre-match checks, verify equipment, and ensure proper pitch setup.
- Provide timely match reports and incident notes to league administrators.
- Collaborate with scheduling teams to ensure consistent officiating standards across fixtures.
Qualification
- Minimum 18 years old with a strong understanding of the laws of the game or relevant sport officiating certification.
- Current refereeing certification or willingness to complete required training and assessments.
- Previous refereeing or officiating experience preferred; ability to make quick, fair decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with a positive attitude and strong sportsmanship.
- Ability to work weekends and evenings; physically fit to keep pace with the match duration.
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
