As a Referee, you will ensure fair play, enforce laws of the game, manage player conduct, and maintain a safe match environment. You will collaborate with assistant referees and match coordinators to deliver smooth game flow and accurate reporting.

Responsibility
- Officiate local football matches across divisions, applying Laws of the Game with impartiality.
- Manage on-field decisions, game flow, and player and coach communications to maintain respect and safety.
- Collaborate with assistant referees and fourth officials to ensure accurate foul, offside, and misconduct calls.
- Provide timely match reports, incident notes, and disciplinary actions to league administrators.
- Monitor safety, enforce equipment standards, and manage substitutions and timekeeping.
- Attend mandatory pre-season trainings and ongoing development sessions to stay current with rule changes.
- Assist with mentor and evaluate youth referees during trials or matches as required.
- Represent the league with professionalism and impartiality in all assignments.
Qualification
- National or regional refereeing certification recognized in Ireland (local governing body).
- Proven refereeing experience at local or youth levels; minimum 1 year preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of Laws of the Game and decision-making under pressure.
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and de-escalation skills.
- Good physical fitness; ability to maintain pace over full match duration; willingness to travel within Leinster.
- First Aid certification and safeguarding awareness are a plus.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible evenings and weekends.
