Responsibility
- Deliver engaging 1:1 or small-group homework tutoring sessions for assigned students, focusing on core subjects and study skills.
- Prepare and customize teaching materials and lesson plans aligned to each student's needs and learning style.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment and manage classroom behavior during sessions.
- Collaborate with centre staff to track progress and participate in regular coaching and performance reviews.
- Keep accurate records of attendance, session content, and student milestones in our learning system.
- Stay updated on curriculum resources and participate in ongoing training to enhance tutoring quality.
Qualification
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience, especially with primary school students, is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
- Ability to tailor explanations to different learning styles and paces.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with a collaborative mindset.
- Proficiency with basic technology and tutoring tools; comfortable using Google Classroom or similar platforms.
- English fluency; additional languages are a plus.
- Good organizational skills and time management to handle multiple sessions.
