Responsibility
- Officiate assigned matches in line with league rules and regulations.
- Enforce safety protocols and manage on-field conduct.
- Make timely, clear, and defensible decisions and communicate them to players and coaches.
- Monitor players' equipment and field conditions for compliance.
- Document match incidents and report them to league administrators as required.
- Collaborate with fellow officials to ensure consistent officiating standards.
- Attend pre-match briefings and post-match debriefs; complete any required paperwork.
- Maintain physical fitness and up-to-date knowledge of governing rules.
Qualification
- Minimum 18 years old and eligible to work in the UK.
- Official refereeing qualification (e.g., FA Level 1/2 or equivalent) or demonstrated competency in the sport.
- Strong knowledge of the sport's rules and ability to apply them consistently.
- Excellent verbal communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to make rapid, independent decisions under pressure.
- Reliable transport and availability for evenings and weekends.
- First aid certification and safeguarding awareness are a plus.
- Commitment to fair play, integrity, and professional conduct.
