In this role you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of fairness, safety, and sport integrity on the field, while delivering a positive match experience for players, coaches, and fans.
Responsibility
- Enforce game rules, maintain discipline, and ensure player safety on match days.
- Make timely, clear decisions and communicate effectively to players, coaches, and fellow officials.
- Conduct pre-match checks to ensure equipment and field readiness and confirm match details.
- Maintain accurate match records and report incidents using our digital officiating system.
- Collaborate with assistant referees, timekeepers, and event staff to ensure smooth match flow.
- Uphold safeguarding, equality, and anti-doping policies; escalate concerns to tournament organizers as needed.
Qualification
- Previous refereeing experience at amateur, youth, or semi-professional level.
- Strong knowledge of the sport's laws and the ability to apply them consistently.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Good physical fitness and stamina to officiate full-length matches.
- Ability to remain impartial under pressure and manage on-field incidents calmly.
- Commitment to safeguarding, equal opportunity, and professional conduct; background check compliance preferred.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
