As a Parts Technician, you will manage stock levels, locate required parts, and process parts orders for service work. Responsibility

  • Receive, organize, and maintain auto parts inventory ensuring accuracy and easy retrieval.
  • Pick, pack, and ship parts for service orders with attention to accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist technicians and service advisors by locating parts quickly and confirming compatibility.
  • Process parts requests from customers and suppliers, including invoicing and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO).
  • Update inventory records using the parts management system; report discrepancies.
  • Liaise with suppliers to track orders, expedite backorders, and manage returns.
  • Support quality control to verify parts meet specifications and report defects.

Qualification

  • High school diploma or equivalent; automotive experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience in auto parts, warehousing, or a workshop environment.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory/ERP software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to lift moderately heavy parts and stand for extended periods; forklift experience is a plus.
  • A valid driver’s license may be preferred.
