As a Patient Service Associate specializing in financial counselling, you will be an essential link between patients and accessible healthcare. Responsibility

  • Provide financial counselling and advice to patients and their families on available healthcare financial assistance schemes and subsidies.

  • Assist patients in the application process for subsidy schemes, Medifund, and other government grants.
  • Accurately document financial assessments and maintain comprehensive records in healthcare information systems.
  • Liaise with internal healthcare professionals, external agencies, and social workers to coordinate patient support.
  • Offer outstanding customer service and ensure patient confidentiality and data privacy at all times.
  • Participate in financial counselling training and ongoing professional development initiatives.
  • Resolve financial queries and administrative issues efficiently and empathetically.

Qualification

  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or diploma in any discipline; higher qualification in healthcare administration or related field is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
  • Prior experience in customer service, hospital, clinic, or healthcare financial counselling preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds.
