Micron Semiconductors is seeking a PDE Yield Enhancement Engineer to join our Singapore team. This is a hands on role that blends process development, statistics and AI driven optimization to maximize yield and efficiency on our advanced manufacturing lines. You will work on cross functional projects that directly impact product quality and customer satisfaction, with opportunities for growth, leadership and global exposure.

Key focus areas include developing and refining yield enhancement strategies for lithography, deposition, etch and CMP steps; performing design of experiments DOE and statistical analysis to identify root causes; implementing AI assisted optimization using real time data streams; and collaborating with equipment engineers and process development teams to transfer successful changes to production.

Responsibility

  • Design and execute yield improvement projects across key semiconductor processes including lithography, deposition, etch and CMP to maximize device yield and reliability.
  • Perform DOE and statistical analysis to identify drivers of yield loss and quantify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and optimize process parameters, process windows and control strategies for robust manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with Process Development, Equipment Engineering and Quality teams to implement changes and validate results in production.
  • Leverage AI and machine learning to predict yield trends and recommend corrective actions based on real time data streams.
  • Lead tech transfer activities from pilot lines to mass production including documentation and training.
  • Monitor yield metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing lines.

Qualification

  • Bachelor or Master degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical, materials engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in semiconductor yield engineering or process development in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of DOE, SPC and statistical methods.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and visualization; familiarity with data pipelines is a plus.
  • Experience with AI ML techniques for manufacturing optimization; exposure to TensorFlow or PyTorch is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem solving, cross functional collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment in Singapore and adapt to changing priorities.
