Responsibility
- Diagnose and manage complex endocrine disorders in pediatric patients.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in leading-edge clinical research and trials.
- Provide education and counseling to families regarding chronic conditions.
- Supervise residents, fellows, and support staff in the pediatric endocrinology clinic.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to advance patient outcomes.
- Maintain detailed electronic medical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualification
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Endocrinology.
- Active license to practice medicine (or eligibility) in Maryland.
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience post-fellowship preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to research, teaching, or quality improvement projects.
- Proficiency in EMR systems and familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
