Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients with hematological and oncological disorders.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Participate in and initiate clinical trials and research studies to advance pediatric hematology-oncology care.
- Educate patients, families, and staff on diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management strategies.
- Mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in specialized medicine best practices.
- Contribute to scholarly publications and institutional quality improvement initiatives.
- Deliver on-call clinical coverage as part of a shared rotation.
- Engage in continuous professional development and attend national conferences.
Qualification
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology.
- Eligible for Maryland medical licensure.
- Minimum 2 years of post-fellowship clinical experience preferred.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and treating rare pediatric hematological and oncological conditions.
- Strong research interest with peer-reviewed publications is highly desirable.
