Join a leading New York-based performing arts organization as a Program Coordinator. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional theatre, dance, and multidisciplinary performances while engaging diverse communities.
In this role, you will partner with producers, directors, education staff, and venue teams to ensure every program is delivered on time, within budget, and with artistic integrity. You will manage calendars, coordinate auditions and rehearsals, oversee back-of-house operations, and serve as the primary liaison for artists and partners. This is a dynamic position that balances creative collaboration with strong operational organization.

Responsibility
- Coordinate all logistical aspects of performances, rehearsals, auditions, and residencies from planning to execution.
- Serve as primary liaison between artists, production teams, venue staff, and education programs.
- Manage calendars, booking schedules, travel arrangements, and on-site checklists.
- Oversee production logistics, tech cues, stage management support, and safety compliance.
- Assist with budgeting, vendor contracts, and grant reporting in collaboration with the finance and development teams.
- Develop and implement audience development and community engagement initiatives to broaden access to the arts.
- Support grant proposals, sponsorship materials, and donor communications as needed.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Arts Administration, Theatre, Dance, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in performing arts programming, production, or education, with a track record of successful events.
- Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Budgeting experience and proficiency with scheduling tools, CRM/donor management software.
- Experience coordinating with venues, technicians, and artists; flexible to evenings/weekends as required.
- Passion for arts education, equity, and community outreach.
