As a Pharmacist, you will assess patient medication histories, verify prescriptions, counsel patients on medication usage and potential side effects, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to optimize therapy outcomes.

Responsibility
- Provide patient-centered pharmaceutical care, medication history review, and counseling to ensure safe and effective therapy.
- Review, verify, and dispense prescriptions; ensure correct dosages and drug interactions.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams on treatment plans and formulary management.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee compounding, labeling, and dispensing workflows.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with state boards, DEA, and accreditation standards; maintain accurate documentation.
- Lead immunization programs, medication therapy management, and clinical initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
- Document and communicate changes in therapy and respond to drug information requests promptly.
Qualification
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent; current active pharmacist license in good standing.
- Massachusetts license or eligibility to obtain; strong knowledge of state and federal requirements.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical pharmacy experience preferred (hospital or community).
- Excellent knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, adverse effects, and patient counseling techniques.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; detail oriented and ethical.
- Proficient with pharmacy management systems (Epic, Point of Care, or similar) and EHR documentation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; flexible schedule including some evenings/weekends.
