Responsibility

  • Verify and dispense prescription medications with accuracy and safety, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Provide expert medication counseling and MTM services to patients, caregivers, and health plan members.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize therapy and resolve drug-related problems.
  • Oversee pharmacy operations including inventory management, controlled substance handling, and reimbursement processes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, ensure HIPAA compliance, and protect patient privacy.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
  • Mentor and train pharmacy technicians and support staff to uphold high service standards.

Qualification

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active pharmacist license in Washington State (or eligible for licensure).
  • Minimum 1-3 years of community pharmacy experience (retail or outpatient).
  • Strong clinical knowledge, with ability to interpret drug interactions and contraindications.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to counsel diverse patient populations.
